Scottish Landscapes Crafted from Wool & Silk

The wall hanging that you can see me working on here and in the main banner, depicts Inverness as seen from my street, and can be seen hanging in Eden Court Theatre (hanging in the window opposite the tennis courts). It was made as part of a Community Project called Fun Palaces. Click on the tab in the menu to find out more.

We need something to connect us and keep minds active, so I've started running online feltmaking workshops.

So here we are at the end of the first online workshop. We had a lovely time together on a dreich February Saturday afternoon in lockdown. If you'd like me to run a workshop for you and some pals, please contact me at susufraser@gmail.com. You can see the picture below that I completed from the kit, with machine stitching added after it had dried.

You may like to visit my revamped Wooliebacks shop @ Etsy, especially if you like pictures of wee sheep and red roofed crofts. Click on links to find out more.

My YouTube channel has taken on a life of it's own and has over 1000 subscribers thanks to just one instructional video which has now had 99K views! You can link to it directly at the top of this page.

How do you make a Scottish landscape from wool?

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make felt? Once you've mastered the basics, you can make bags, ornaments, hats or my favourite subject, landscapes. If you'd like to book a felt making experience, contact me at susufraser@gmail.com to find out about future workshops, or click on the symols at the very top of this page for links to Wooliebacks on Facebook, Instagram and Pnterest.

If you would like to commission a special piece, please contact me at susufraser@gmail.com
